June skiing
« on: June 03, 2002, 04:12:37 PM »
With the strong chance of a good snow fall on opening weekend and then a couple of systems to follow June may well prove to be a great time to ski/board. Early snow is always nice and light, prices are cheap and no crowds. 8)

If everything works out with Huey I can see myself doing a couple of weeks. (Cheap accomadation ;D)
All bonas days with a seasons pass. ;)

I have a desire to live a season up there myself. never done it.

I'm getting a bit jumpy about this system coming up. Looking like more rain than snow all the time.

Ah if you live there for a season you'll probably want to stay there forever....

I know i did...but after 10 years living up there yearround i had to have a break....

Its very stormy down here at the moment...the first front is just hitting us now...the second one looks promising though!

I'm debating  as to if I should go up on Friday night or leave it untill Sunday and stay untill Wed. I have a feeling it will take a few days for the cover to establish. Particulally with the lack of snow making this year.

I'll make the decision when I have a look at the charts on friday morning I think.
